  wow I really cannot believe how my father and I were treated at this well established chain restaurant... we walk in, sit down. order a couple waters and a lunch menu and for some reason the waitress was pretty short with us. brushed it off as a bad day no biggie. after that we were ignored. most likely intentionally.. sat at the bar for 45 min with a water in my hand before we had to leave. unbelievable. the bar tender would not even look at us again. I really hate to bring race into this... but the managers need to know the favoritism blatantly displayed in their own restaurant... this woman would not serve a table of a different race, honest to the Lord above! she absolutely ignored everyone else. and the only reason she was tolerable at the start was because her manager was standing right next to her oh my God. it was just unfathomable to experience this at a Applebee's for Christ's sake.
  Now I won't give away my race or the race of the bar tender as I think it shouldn't matter on way or another. and if anyone ever reads this, you shouldn't have any idea either race as you have no identifiers. HOWEVER I will say I strongly believe that the favoritism was blatant and I've never felt so God damn unwelcome in my life.

  Worst customer service! Came in at 12:05 and they right away said they were closed for food which is fine so we go to the bar before we even sit down the guy says I am calling last call.... normally I don't care but customer service and a better attitude would go a long ways..... maybe welcome us to the bar offer to take our order and then nicely inform us that the bar will be closing early........

  Its got a warm atmosphere and is generally a fun place. The menu is large and the people are very nice. The problem I have is microwaved prepared foods passing as fresh-made.
